Hi everyone,

For a long time I've been debating over getting the 50mm f1.2 and 24-70 f2.8. I finally decided to get them, however I HATE the fact that canon 40d is 1.6 crop factor. The 50mm becomes 80mm and 700 is 130. Yes, almost telephoto.

Instead now I am saving money to upgrade my 40D to a 5D mark II. I think the kinda money you pay for 50mm 1.2 can only do justice on a full frame camera.

Instead, I went to a local store today and grabbed the 50mm f1.8. It really does feel like a plastic toy for 100 dollars. However, it is sharper than my IS zoom lens. (PRIMES RULE!) Couldn't test it yet but I am planning on doing so in the following days. So expect new additions to my gallery.

Hello everyone,

I have been really busy and could not take pictures for a looooooong time. This weekend I rented this beautiful Sigma 105mm macro lens and went out to the Butchard Gardens. The place is amazing with thousand of beautiful flowers. What better place to test a macro lens

The lens is definitely loud and has issues with AF. However, once you get it right the images are amazingly sharp. Colors are wonderful and built is just solid.

Uzun suredir cok mesguldum ve fotograf cekmeye hic firsatim olmadi. Neyseki haftasonu zaman bulup uzun zamandir denemek istedigim Sigma 105 mm macro lensi kiraladim. Hemen solugu Butchard Gardens ta aldim. Dunyanin en buyuk botanik bahcesi ve binlerce inanilmaz cicek mevcut. Sanirim macro lensi denigcek daha iyi bir yer bulamazdim

Lens otomatik odaklanma modunda cok yavas ve gurultulu. Fakat, odaklaninca inanilmaz keskin, detayli, muhtesem renkli kareler elde ediyorsunuz. Yapi kalitesi cok iyi ve manuel odaklanirken verdigi his gercekten tatmin edici.

Keske bu lensi daha uzun sure elimde tutabilseydim ama yarin geri vermek zorundayim
